My name is Rylee Walker and I am a sophomore at TCC. My freshman year of college I red shirted for Northwest Nazarene University in both track and volleyball. After deciding I wanted to be closer to home and see more playing time on the court, I transferred to Tacoma Community College in 2008. Being a part of the TCC volleyball team for the past two seasons, I have accomplished many things including: Captain of 2009 season, western region 2nd team (2008), made 4 all-star teams, MVP of the western region (2009), recognized as a player of the week 4 times, had the top hitting percentage in the NWAACC conference, and have been a part of two western region titles, 2008 and 2009. This is my second season coaching the Edge U18's. I have been playing volleyball for 7 years as a middle hitter. I never played club because I played multiple sports in High school: Basketball, volleyball, and track. My love for volleyball grows every time I'm on the court, whether it's coaching or playing. My favorite thing about coaching volleyball is seeing improvement in my players; it's a great feeling of success!! I look forward to coaching the players of 2010, the Edge U18s black!!!
