Hi, my name is Jaime Ecklund and this is my third season coaching for the Edge—I was the assistant coach for the U-15s for the 2008-2009 season and head coach for the U-16s for the 2009-2010 season.
I have been playing volleyball for the past 10 years. I have played indoor for school and club, as well as outdoor on the beach and grass. I am a middle blocker, but have played outside and right-side as well. I love volleyball and want to share my knowledge about the game with others. I am very excited for the upcoming season! GO EDGE!
My senior year of high school I played club volleyball for The Edge, and had a wonderful, positive experience. After graduating high school, I was a student-athlete for Tacoma Community College from 2008-2010 where I receiving an Associates in Arts and Science degree. My athletic honors include 2 West Region Championships, 2 cross-over championships, NWAACC offensive player of the Week (week 8), 2 academic awards, Sophomore All Stars-
Second Team, and was a co-captain. Now I am a junior Logger-Student Athlete at the University of Puget Sound. We took second in our conference this year and earned a bid to Regionals.
