This is my second season coaching the Edge--last season coaching the U-15s and this season the U-16s. I have been playing volleyball for the past 9 years. I have played in door for school and club, as well as out door on the beach and grass. I played my last club volleyball season for The Edge, and had a wonderful, positive experience. The following year in 2008, I began playing volleyball for Tacoma Community College. That season we did well, winning the West Region Championship. During the 2009 season, we have won the Walla Walla Cross Over Tournament, the Pierce Cross Over Tournament, and the West Region (again). This season, I am a co-captain, was voted the NWAACC Player of the Week (week 8), and made the 2009 NWAACC All Academic Sports Team. I love volleyball and want to share my knowledge about the game with others. I am looking forward to the upcoming season with the U-16 Edge! | |
